The Church began as Inner Christian fellowship Church in 1986 with the founding Pastor Tommy Bradford, who came to Elizabeth City from Georgia.
The first meeting was on September 18th, 1986 at the Edgewood Center in the Bingo Hall with about 15 people. Jacob Burke taught Sunday School and Brenda Burke taught the Children. The Praise Team consisted of the Pastor and the Burke Family.
After a short period at the Edgewood Shopping Center, we moved to the Karate Studio downtown and met there briefly.
Then we met at Pastor Bradford's home and later at the home of one of the members before moving to 215 North Dyer Street in 1986
During this time, we experienced a time of blessing and growth. In 1988 David Sutter came to pastor this church. We became a Non-Denominational Full Gospel Church. In June 1990, Jacob Burke became the Pastor and was ordained on November 18, 1990. During this time we were incorporated in and chartered with the state of North Carolina.
The Church began to grow and various ministries were started. On April 6th, 2003 we moved to our current location and had our first service. On April 13th, we had the official dedication service for our new church home.
We thank God for all He has done!
